Got a question? We’re here to help.
  • What’s the difference between modern & traditional upholstery

Modern upholstery uses polymer foams and fibres of different densities to create a range of comfort levels and support.

Traditional upholstery uses a range of materials and methods such as animal hair or coir combined with wool/cotton wadding, hessian scrims and springs.

This latter method is more expensive due to the materials cost and labour intensive processes.

  • How much does it cost to reupholster an armchair?

I really wish it was easy to provide an answer to this. Every job is different as there are a lot of variables such as the design, condition and size of the chair. Please get in touch with me and I’ll provide you with an accurate estimate. The more information you can provide including photos will help with this.

  • How much does fabric cost?

This is really hard to be precise as fabric cost can vary considerably depending on the style you want. Most upholstery fabrics are in the region of £20/m - £40/m but can be as much as £120/m for designer fabrics.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

My preference is to accept bank transfers but I will also accept card and cash payments.

  • Do you have a catalogue of bespoke furniture I can choose from?

This is not something I’m able to provide. The pure nature of a bespoke item is that it is indeed one of a kind and will be designed and hand built to your exact specifications.
